Each week Kirby will dig into a word that will help in personal development, sales, and growth. The weekly word is designed to be short and sweet, and provide a quick lesson that will help you grow each week. The Hasseman Marketing weekly word this week is HUSTLE. Kirby has been in business for a very long time. All this time, he has been involved in Sales, and in entrepreneurship, it seems like everyone is always looking for the magic bullet. For lack of a better term, people are looking for “the simple button” that they can push to take their business to the next level. Kirby explains to us that this button does not exist. If you’ve set a goal for yourself you have to be willing to HUSTLE. You have to be willing to grind. You have to be willing to put in the work. Mark Manson talks about this in his book, The Subtle Art of Not Giving A F*ck. He talks about the thing that you really want to accomplish in life. You have to be willing to suffer through. What he means by this is let’s say you are wanting to run a marathon, you have to be willing to put in the work to do the 17 mile run, the 18 mile run, in order to get yourself ready for the 26.2 mile run. So Kirby tells us you have to choose what you’re willing to grind on. You have to choose what you’re willing to suffer through. In this video Kirby emphasizes a person has to day in and day out be willing to put in the HUSTLE. Want to keep up all the time? Make sure to join our VIP List!
